Reviews of Vancouver Pan Pacific Hotel
great location, view and service. Feel like a million $ in the bed with the best linens and with first class treatment from staff. The breakfast buffet was costly and the food just average but the view was great. Can walk to many places to shop and eat. I did feel safe and special.

Wonderful! Nothing to dislike. Rooms were beautiful, immaculate and spacious. Hotel staff was wonderful. Great location and easily accessible to cruise ships, harbor, Stanley Park and Gastown.

Great for cruise ship passengers. Easily accessible to the ships and your luggage is transferred directly to the ship.

This was our second visit to the city- but the accomodations were out of this world. Loved every minute we were here.

We found the Internet off-season rate, but called and were able to get a better deal - same price, but upgraded to a corner view room with free parking for our two-day stay.

The room was very pleasant - a bit small, but the view was great and it was quiet.

Amenities were fine, higher-quality lotions, shampoos, etc. Internet connection was quite pricey.

The hotel does have a lot of attached shops you can get to without going outside, including a mall-like food court. There is also an IMAX theatre at the location. Once the seawall and building construction is completed for the 2010 Olympics, it appears that there will be a wonderful walking/jogging/biking path from the hotel to Stanley Park.

The valet service got a bit mixed up with our car and we had to ask to get the keys after the car was delivered.

The pool and hot tub were very busy, despite it being the off-season. They could really use a bigger hot tub or multiple units.

All-in-all, we found this to be a good hotel, typical of what we consider to be 4-diamond hotels. We didn't notice anything extra to make it warrant 5 diamonds. We would stay there again, if we got the same deal or wanted the convenience prior to or after a cruise, since cruise ships leave from this location.

I can just echo what everyone else has to say about the Pan Pacific. My wife and I stayed for a week . The room , view and staff were all great. We went down to the health club to see where it was located and the attendant gave us a tour but as it turned out we had all the exercise we needed walking to Stanley Park , Gastown , restaurants. There wasn't anything to complain about except it rained a couple of days. The peak season rate is a bit high but we stayed in the off season when the rates are lower.

I stayed in this hotel for three nights in Aug 07. I was very impressed by the niceness of the staff and their willingness to assist.

The location is also excellent. It is walking distance to a lot of the Downtown Vancouver neighborhoods. The room was very clean and the linens were so soft one just gets really spoiled.

I also had a chance to have breakfast at their restaurant. The food was good but very pricey.

Very Nice! Not just a place to sleep! I was only in the hotel for two evenings.. Great Service..Great Location..Great Value..Not a bad view..I really dont know what else to say. Go stay and you will enjoy.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Pan Pacific hotel and had a very good experience. The view from our room was as good as it looked in the online photos. The room was very clean which is something you don't always get when you stay in hotels. It is located within walking distance to a lot of cool tourist places and it made it easy as we never rented a car. When I called ahead to book the room, the reservation desk and the concierge were very polite and helpful and were able to accommodate all the extras I wanted to include in our stay. We lost a set of our car keys and they turned up in our room and the staff were great at getting them back to us. We had a great stay and will be back one day again for sure.

This luxury hotel has the best view, friendly service, beautiful rooms, great food and spa. Can't wait to return for my ski vacation prior to heading up to Whistler.
