Hotel. The hotel is located 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver. This hotel is a
good choice for travelers who want to be close to the airport and who do not
mind driving or taking a taxi to downtown Vancouver. |

Stayed at this hotel on our wedding night before catching a flight for our
honeymoon (to S.E. Asia). This was the best hotel me & my husband had ever
stayed at. The service was great, the staff was friendly & very helpful. The
room was spacious & beautiful. I can't say enough about their bathroom - just
gorgeous. The view of the planes was great as well. Very quiet hotel considering
the hotel was right above the airport

The check in is speedy and efficient.
Restaurant meals are first class
Service is speedy and friendly
The rooms are spacious, and the bath rooms large.
MY WIFE AND I STAYED ON THE WAY TO ALASKA. OUR STAY WAS GREAT, THE ROOM WAS
LARGE NOT CRAMP. THE BATHROOM WAS LAID OUT WITH CARE AND THOUGHT AS TO
USEFULNESS, LARGE TUB AND SHOWER NOT ALL PEOPLE COME IN SMALL SIZES. THE STAFF
WAS VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE. THE HOTEL IS VERY CLEAN AND EASY TO GET TO AND
FROM. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR INPUT TO THE START OF OUR DREAM VACATION |

From the USA Border (Peace Arch Border Crossing)
Driving time is about 35 minutes.
Interstate 5 becomes Highway 99 as you come through the border.
Follow Hwy 99, proceed through the Massey Tunnel until you get to exit 39 (St.
Edwards Drive).
At lights turn left onto Bridgeport Rd.
Continue west along Bridgeport Road and over the Airport Connector leading to
the airport.
Follow signs to International Terminal Building, US Departures, (Main INTL (USA)
departures).
The Fairmont Vancouver Airport is located above the USA departures desk within
the International Terminal. |
