| The Empire Landmark Hotel is located on Robson Street, approximately 15
miles from Vancouver International Airport. The hotel is also within walking
distance of Stanley Park (cycling, jogging, zoo, and aquarium) and English Bay
and Gastown is two miles away, Granville Island is three miles away, Chinatown
is four miles away, and Grouse Mountain is nine miles from the hotel. Hotel
amenities include the restaurant, bar, parking, Internet access, sauna,
whirlpool, and fitness room |

| The elevators were 4 but never seem to come up fast enough..once I waited
over 10 mins I ended up going down 11 floors. My shin bone hurt me for 2 days..
No news paper at the door whereas other floors seem to get one.. Whoever runs
this place should be ashamed. Our travel agent should have her license revoked
for recommending it. From the exposed rebar on the dirty hotel balcony to the
elevator doors that miss meeting the floor by half a foot (and then they close
before you get through) to the tiny hallways to the rusty towel bar in the
bathtub to toilet paper that's placed across the room from the toilet to the
threadbare carpet to the 13 inch TVs to no room service
Not too expensive, but you won't get much more than a basic small room with a
great view, if you request one on a high floor. The balcony had major visible
fascia cracks. Stayed for a couple of nights on the 32nd flr, parking was
expensive, but the rooftop rotating restaurant proved to be a better dining
experience than the highly coveted and more expensive Harbour Centre. The
furnishings of the restaurant were worn out at the time, hopefully remodeling is
in the pipeline

From the Vancouver International Airport
Follow Grant McConachie Way (the main road from the airport) over the Arthur
Lange bridge. Take the Granville Street Exit, and follow Granville Street over
the Granville Street Bridge. When exiting the bridge use the Seymour Street
exit, follow Seymour Street for approximately 5 blocks to Robson Street, turn
left on Robson Street and travel approximately 7 blocks to the hotel. The Empire
Landmark Hotel is located on the left hand side of the road . Approximate
driving time from the airport: 30 minutes.
From the US Border
When crossing the border into Canada, I5 will become Highway 99. Follow Highway
99 into the City of Vancouver, as you cross the Oak Street Bridge Highway 99
will become Oak Street. Follow Oak Street to 41st Avenue and turn left, follow
41st Avenue for approximately 8 blocks to Granville Street and turn right.
Follow Granville Street over the Granville Street Bridge. Take the Seymour
Street exit off the bridge. Follow Seymour Street for approximately 5 blocks to
Robson Street. Turn left onto Robson Street the Empire Landmark Hotel is
approximately 7 blocks up on the left hand side Approximate driving time from
the border: 45 minutes |
