We spent 3 days here and the location is awesome. We had great views of
English Bay and got great photos of the sun setting over the bay. The tour buses
run close by, there are lots of restaurants nearby.
My husband didn't realize that he had accidently left a piece of computer
equipment there. I phoned and the hotel had found the equipment and sent it home
to us within a few days
A great place to stay. Only complaint is it is a bit noisy and the beds could be
more comfortable
It was VERY loud because of the Pub directly underneath the hotel. They play
their music very loud and have karaoke almost every night. I would only
recommend this hotel if they get rid of that Pub.
I loved this place because I had the opportunity to shoot a shortfilm here.
The owner cares a lot about the customers and he was more than happy to treat my
crew us as future customers. The location is just by the sea! The rooms are very
clean and comfortable. The people working there are also very nice and are
willing to help you at any moment. Same is with the Restaurant of the hotel.
Everybody who comes to this place won't be disappointed. I give this place 5
stars since it was difficult for me to find a place with this kind of service.

| Directions to Best Western Sands |
From the north: Take US Interstate 5, Highway 99 to Granville Street. Turn
left at the second traffic light after Granville Street Bridge. Continue to the
entrance on Davie Street.
From the south: Take Highway 99 south for approximately 65 miles. Turn right on
Taylor Way Exit 13. Turn left on Marine Drive. Follow signs for Vancouver, cross
Lions Gate Bridge, continue on West Georgia, turn right on Denman, around 8
blocks. Turn left on Davie Street.
From the east: Take the Grandview Highway Exit to Granville Street, turn right
on Granville Street, cross the bridge, turn left at the 2nd set of traffic
lights, Davie Street, follow Davie Street to the ocean.
From the west: From Tsawwasswen Ferry Terminal, follow Highway 17, take exit to
Highway 99, follow Highway 99 on to Oak Street Bridge and continue up Oak until
41st Avenue. Turn left on 41st Avenue, continue to Granville. Turn right on
Granville, follow Granville and cross Granville Street Bridge and turn left at
Davie Street. |
